These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BudgetBites UK ("BudgetBites", "we", "us", "our"), a meal-planning, shopping-list and food-budgeting service for UK households available as a website and as an Android app. By creating an account or using BudgetBites you agree to these Terms.

1. Using BudgetBites

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract to use BudgetBites. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

2. The service

BudgetBites generates AI-assisted recipes, meal plans and shopping lists with cost estimates, and provides budgeting and waste-tracking tools. Recipes, cost estimates and nutritional information are provided for general guidance only and may not be accurate for your circumstances. Always check ingredient labels for allergens and consult a qualified professional for medical or dietary advice.

3. Subscriptions and payment

BudgetBites offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions on the web are processed by Stripe, and subscriptions in the Android app are processed by Google Play. Prices are shown before you purchase and include UK VAT where applicable. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time through the relevant provider and will keep access until the end of your current billing period.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to access other users’ data, disrupting the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the information you add, such as your preferences, saved recipes and plans. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app.

6. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the "last updated" date above, and continued use of BudgetBites means you accept the updated Terms.
